Acceptable Use Policy
What is permitted, what is not, and how we enforce these boundaries fairly.
What Nortra cannot be used for.
We turn off accounts that violate this. No exceptions, no warnings beyond the first.
No bulk unsolicited messaging
Listr is for inbound lead response and follow-up to leads who opted in. No purchased lists. No cold outreach. No mass blasts.
No misleading identity
AI must always identify as AI on request. No deepfaking a specific human agent. No false claims of licensure or representation.
No regulated workflows without disclosure
Mortgage advice, legal advice, insurance binding — only with explicit broker-of-record + state-specific compliance language captured during discovery.
No high-stakes irreversible actions
AI does not sign contracts, transfer funds, or commit your firm to a transaction. Handoff to human required.
Uses that are not permitted
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Nortra platform regardless of business intent, industry, or jurisdiction.
Spam, unsolicited outreach & list purchasing
Sending AI-generated messages to contacts who have not opted in is prohibited. Purchased lists, harvested email databases, and scraped contact sets may not be imported into the platform.
Impersonation & deceptive identity
You may not use Nortra to impersonate a licensed professional, government entity, regulated body, or any individual without their explicit consent. AI agents must not misrepresent themselves as human when sincerely asked.
Discriminatory or fair-housing violations
Workflows, scripts, and AI prompts must not treat leads differently based on protected characteristics including race, religion, national origin, sex, disability, or familial status. Fair-housing compliance is your responsibility.
Security evasion & platform abuse
You may not reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, bypass security measures, or conduct unauthorized penetration testing on the platform. Unauthorized access or security testing may result in immediate account termination and civil or criminal liability.
Unlawful data collection & consent violations
Recording calls, capturing biometrics, or storing sensitive personal data without required disclosures and explicit consent is prohibited. Nortra does not validate your consent flows — compliance is your obligation.
Illegal content & regulated industries
The platform may not be used for any purpose that violates applicable federal, state, or local law, including unlicensed financial advice, illegal gambling, controlled-substance marketing, or TCPA/CAN-SPAM violations.
How we handle violations
Enforcement is proportional. We aim to resolve issues collaboratively before resorting to suspension or termination.
Warning
First violation: written notice + required remediation
For first-time or low-severity breaches we issue a written warning and a remediation deadline. Accounts remain active while the fix is in progress.
Suspension
Repeated or high-severity: immediate access suspension
Repeated violations or a single high-severity breach (spam blast, impersonation, security evasion) result in immediate account suspension pending review.
Termination
Egregious violations: permanent account termination
Willful illegal activity, abuse that affects other customers, or refusal to remediate after suspension results in permanent termination with no refund.
